While safety has always been a top priority for the entire team, we have implemented new and additional protocols and personal protective equipment to elevate our safety standards to the next level. We register body temperature to all patients and team members. If anyone has a temperature above 99.5 degrees, he/she will not be permitted inside the office.
Additionally, all patients will be asked COVID-related questions. We will screen all patients on the phone, again when a patient is confirmed, and once a patient arrives for the appointment. As an added safety precaution, we have installed air filtration systems. We also perform nightly disinfecting protocols with the use of high-grade cleaning products and fogger. This machine fogs the entire office with a food-grade material that has been proven by CDC to kill the COVID-19 virus.
These are just some of the steps and measures we have taken to ensure everyone’s safety in the long run. The safety measures we have put in place are above and beyond the recommended guidelines, so we are confident we are doing all that we can to ensure the safety of our patients, team and community.
